Hello. On behalf of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, thank you for joining us for the Seminars in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery roundtable discussion on the topic of trends in pulmonary valve replacement. I'm Jennifer Nelson, a congenital heart surgeon at Nemours Children's Health in Florida, and today, I'm joined by several colleagues to discuss this topic. First is Dr Emile Bacha, who is a professor of surgery at Columbia University, Chief of the Division of Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery in New York Presbyterian Columbia University Medical Center and the Director of Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospitals and Cornell Children's. And next, representing the interventional cardiology perspective is Dr Diego Porras, Chief of the Division of Cardiology, the Benderson Family Cardiac Catheterization Chair in the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children's Hospital and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and Dr Stephanie Fuller, Thomas L. Spray Endowed Chair in Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery, Professor of Clinical Surgery at the Pearlman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Surgical Director of the Philadelphia Adult Congenital Heart Center, and Program Director for Congenital Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
